Purposeβ
This SOP provides a structured, step-by-step framework for conducting effective sortie debriefs at the conclusion of each sortie. This SOP is intended to ensure Mission Elements systematically review and evaluate mission execution to reinforce successes, identify areas for improvement, and document actionable insights. Following this SOP will help maintain a consistent and high-quality debrief process that aligns with established standards outlined in USCCI 3300-06, ACCI 17-202 V3, and ACCMAN 17-2 CVA/H V3:

3.3 Debriefing. The mission commander will lead a mission debrief for every mission. The mission debrief will cover the following at a minimum: whether mission tasks and objectives were met, mission deviations and lessons learned.

2.2.2. Squadron Directors of Operations (DOs) are responsible for ensuring all operations are planned, briefed, executed, and debriefed in accordance with Higher Headquarters (HHQ) and squadron standards.

2.4. Debriefs. Crews will conduct debriefs after each sortie and, at a minimum, include whether tasks and objectives were met, mission deviations, lessons learned, identification of successes, new Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP) used, anomalies encountered, and task completion status. 3.6.5.3. Debriefing. All cybercrew members will participate in an official sortie or mission debrief. (T-3). The Mission Lead is responsible for the overall mission debrief. Each Crew Lead is responsible for debriefing their individual crews. (T-3). Refer to Attachment 3 DEBRIEFING GUIDE and USCCI 3300-06 for briefing templates.
5.2.12.5.1. Deviation Debriefs. Teams shall debrief the effectiveness of the deviation and provide a written deviation debrief report to their SQ/DO and Weapons and Tactics shop, Wing Weapons and Tactics shop, and CVA/H PMO.
